Feature Ideas
Submit IdeaAllow users to bookmark actions
It would be helpful to allow users to "bookmark" their favorite actions, then easily come back to their bookmarks.

Add Perplexity actions
Perplexity is cool. We should accelerate the availability of Perplexity actions on the platform.

Enable Authenticator Codes as an alternative to 2FAs
It is annoying to have to check my email to find my 2FA code. It would be nice to support authenticator systems (like Google Authenticator) as an alternative.

Enable Passkeys to reduce need for 2FAs
It is frustrating to keep having to find my email 2FA code. It would be great if we can add support for Passkeys as an alternative source of 2FA.

Hide categories with no actions
At the moment there are some categories that return "no actions found" (not sure if this is only when used in conjunction with other filters). We should hide categories that do not return any actions.

Display categories more prominently
Categories are cool and showcase the power of Cognitive Cloud. However, at the moment categories are tucked away - users need to go to Discover Actions -> More Actions -> Categories drop-down on the top right. Showcasing top categories more prominently on the dashboard would improve the experience.

Allow file uploads alongside URL inputs
At the moment, actions which require a file input only accept URLs. It would be nice to support direct file uploads for these inputs, either by: Providing users with a way to upload files to a temporary URL Allowing base64 encoded parameters Allowing multipart payloads in requests

Prevent multiple actions from having the same name
Consider forcing each action to have a unique name

Add more filters
Consider adding new filters to improve discovery, including: Speed filtersNewness filtersInternal/external filters

Allow users to explore actions by use case
It would be nice to explore actions by use cases. This feels like it might be different from categories.

Avoid acronyms in parameter names
Acronyms can be hard to understand, unless they are extremely widely used. For example, one action asked for a URN, which is not clearly explained. Maybe for engineers URNs are very standard, but in the future, if we can do more handholding, that would be great (I figured it out via quick research and used a URN in San Francisco).

Highlight invalid fields
In the dashboard UI, if one entry field has an invalid parameter, an error message appears in the upper right corner. It should highlight the actually field in red.
Jakob0
Allow users to explore actions by underlying model
I'd like to see all the actions which are based on a particular foundation model.

Make categories less overwhelming.
At the moment, the categories list feels overwhelming. Consider having a hierarchy of categories, or a non-MECE tree.

Group related actions to provide greater clarity
Some actions are reliant on the outputs of other actions. For example, an action like "Get Hotel Information by ID" is often paired with another action like "Search for Hotels" which returns these hotel IDs. It is almost impossible to use the former without the latter - but at the moment these relationships are not clearly visible in the platform.
